how to: save money and time on battery conservation

October 21, 2022

We all know the feeling of scrambling to find our phones when the battery is at 5%. And in today\’s day and age, our phones are practically our lifelines. Whether we\’re using them for work, to stay connected with loved ones, or for entertainment, we rely on them heavily. So it\’s no wonder that we\’re always looking for ways to conserve battery and save time.

Here are some tips on how to do just that:

1. Use power-saving mode

This is a no-brainer, but it\’s worth mentioning. Power-saving mode will disable certain features and lower the screen brightness to help conserve battery. On most phones, you can find this setting in the drop-down menu.

2. Turn off notifications

Notifications can be a huge battery drain, especially if you have a lot of apps that are constantly sending them. To save battery, go into your settings and turn off notifications for any apps that you don\’t absolutely need them for.

3. Dim your screen

The brighter your screen, the more battery it will use. So, if you want to conserve battery, make sure to dim your screen. You can usually find this setting in the display section of your phone\’s settings.

4. Close apps you\’re not using

This is another one that seems like a no-brainer, but it\’s easy to forget. If you\’re not using an app, make sure to close it. Having a lot of apps open in the background can use up a lot of battery.

5. Disable location services

Location services are great when you\’re using them, but they can also be a battery drain when you\’re not. If you\’re not using any apps that require your location, make sure to disable location services. You can usually find this setting in the privacy section of your phone\’s settings.

By following these tips, you can save battery and time. So the next time your phone\’s battery is low, you won\’t have to scramble to find a charger.
